  • Requirements: Electrical 01: Commercial Inside Wireman

    • Proof of age – must be at least 18 years of age
    • Proof of high school diploma; or a qualifying GED score of 2500; or a High School Equivalency of 600 or higher after January 1, 2014; or an Associate degree or higher

    • Proof of completing one full year of high school algebra with a passing grade of ‘C’ or better; or equivalent post high school algebra course(s) with a grade of ‘C’ or better; or current math placement results from a community college facility indicating a placement level beyond high school level algebra
    • Qualifying score of 50 or higher on the Scheig Utility worker test. Testing fee of $35 will be paid by the applicant.

    • A valid Washington State driver’s license and dependable transportation
    • Proof of high school diploma or equivalent. A waiver for a high school diploma or equivalent may be granted for applicants who can provide documentation of two (2) or more years of work experience in the construction industry.
    • Qualifying score of 50 or higher on the Scheig Utility worker test. Testing fee of $35 will be paid by the applicant.

The apprenticeship committee reserves the right to waive the math requirements providing the applicant can satisfy the committee with written documentation of proof that he/she possess knowledge equivalent to the above math requirements.
